Community

Soul Family is more than a studio.
It’s a space for people to gather, connect, share, express, and remember that we’re not meant to do life alone.

Alongside our classes and events, we offer free and low-cost community gatherings designed to nurture genuine human connection.

No hierarchy.
No performance.
Just real people coming together in presence.

Men’s Circle

There’s something powerful that happens when men come together in a real way.

Not to fix.
Not to impress.
Not to have the answers.

But simply to be.

This monthly Men’s Circle is a space to slow down, take a breath, and return to yourself — alongside other men walking their own paths.

A space for:
• Sharing what’s real for you
• Listening without needing to respond
• Being witnessed without judgement
• Expressing what’s been held in

There’s no pressure to speak.
You’re welcome exactly as you are.

We gently weave in breath, meditation, grounding practices, and at times soft acoustic music or sound — helping create a space that feels both safe and alive.

This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering who you are beneath the noise.

Come as you are.
Leave a little lighter, a little more connected.

Women’s Circle

A space for women to gather gently.
To slow down.
To soften.
To remember.

This monthly Women’s Circle is an invitation to come home to yourself — honouring the natural cycles, emotions, seasons, and inner rhythms that move through life.

Together, we create a space where all parts of you are welcome.
The tender parts.
The tired parts.
The joyful parts.
The messy, uncertain, growing parts.

A space for:
• Honest sharing
• Deep listening
• Reflection and connection
• Being witnessed without judgement

There is no pressure to speak.
You are welcome exactly as you are.

Through gentle practices such as breath, meditation, reflection, sound, and soft acoustic music, we create a nurturing space to reconnect with the body, the heart, and the wisdom within.

This is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering the woman you already are beneath the noise, pressure, and expectations of the world.

A space to gather.
To exhale.
To be held in community.

Come as you are.

Grief Circle

A ceremonial gathering for remembrance and shared humanity

This Grief Circle is a free ceremonial offering for the community — a sacred pause to honour grief in all its forms.

We gather in circle to remember, to listen, and to be with what is present.

Grief may arise through the loss of loved ones, relationships, identity, health, land, community, or ways of living. Some grief is recent, some ancient, some unnamed.

All of it belongs.

This is a ceremony of witnessing.

Sharing is always by invitation, never expectation. Silence is honoured as deeply as words. When one speaks, the circle listens — without interruption, without fixing, without advice.

We practice deep, embodied listening as an act of respect and care.

Facilitators are here to hold the ceremonial container, not to guide or heal you. This space is not about resolution or forcing release. It is about acknowledgement, presence, and shared humanity — allowing grief to be seen, heard, and held within community.

The gathering may gently weave in:
• Guided meditation and grounding
• Breath and body awareness
• Sound and music to support the nervous system
• Simple songs, prayer, and reflection

We move slowly, with tenderness and care, recognising both the vulnerability and wisdom carried within grief.

You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels safest — through sharing, listening, resting, or simply being present.

This circle is an invitation to remember that grief is not something we are meant to carry alone.

Together, we honour love, loss, and the threads that connect us.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

Open Mic Night

A space to share.
A space to be seen.
A space to express… exactly as you are.

Our monthly Open Mic Night is a free community gathering welcoming all forms of creative expression. Whether it’s your first time sharing or something you’ve done for years, this is a space held with warmth, presence, and deep respect.

Music, movement, words, silence…
All of it belongs here.

You’re invited to bring whatever wants to move through you:
• Song
• Dance
• Spoken word
• Poetry
• Storytelling
• Acoustic jams
• Or something entirely your own

There’s no pressure to perform and no expectation to be anything other than yourself.

You’re just as welcome to come along to listen, witness, connect, and soak in the atmosphere.

We’ll open the space gently, land together, and allow the evening to unfold organically — woven with creativity, community, and authentic human connection.

Come as you are.
Share if you feel called.
Be held either way.
